Ann, for some reason when I first saw the post I only saw the back of the card, then after I posted I could see both. Weird. Thanks Nada and VIltmaaraan.

I love the light airiness of these ornaments. Thanks for the link Nada!

Don't you love those blank stares knowing they have no clue.

You could also needle felt some of the background color over the fuzziness. For many projects I've used precut prefelt for specific shapes, needle felt it down, but then I wet felt it all.

Beautiful cards Marion. I know how these projects can go. Been there as well especially when you have a deadline. :-) The coasters may make a nice gift.

Great idea Lyn! Very festive. I had bought a three pack when I did my silk vase. But I really like how it looks on the felt. Happy holidays!

Here is the lovely card Ann sent me. The outside is an ornament stitched with some shiny threads on the black background and couched yarns as decorations with a message inside and some silk hankies. Bling! I love it. It's shiny enough to hang on the tree. Thanks Ann! flic.kr/p/QkY4LnInside flic.kr/p/P7oPgv

We have a lot of alpaca farms around. Sheep as well but none selling fleece that I'm aware of. The owner of the place I buy my fiber from used to have merino but sold them. My sister in Wisconsin now has sheep. I wrote about it here: feltingandfiberstudio.com/2016/04/25/welcome-to-the-family/She has since got the more sheep and was looking at Corriedale and merino. I'm hoping to get a couple of fleeces processed next spring from her. I've used alpaca, but have not been impressed. But then I know different parts of the fleece felt differently. Has any one used llama?
