Great ideas. I love the feather and dandelion ideas. I'll bet you can also get the effect of streaming air with a couple of those embellishments zigzagging in the wind. A tornado? Ripples in a river, sure it can be purple with a pink sunset. :-). Have fun!

I agree with Ruth. I have a fine carder and do use coarser fibers occasionally, but it's not easy sometimes.

I have never heard of that, but it makes sense in a sanitary way to do it. Obviously, I don't know what kind of Australian merino I've bought. Good to know and ask about. Thanks for sharing

"convent" Hmmm... wondering about that Marilyn. I realize you meant content but now it seems like we should have the singing nun or something. Ahh, I'm a bad proofreader today. Yes I meant content. :-)

Welcome to the forum Bonnie! There is plenty of convent here and on our blog www.felitngandfiberstudio.com. Just have fun. We all learned by experimenting, still do.

Great squirrel Lyn!
Elizabeth, I don't have my thrift store stuff organized.
Ruth, keeping the polyester knits for stitching projects sounds good.

Tracey, I use plastic bin drawers. Half the time they are left open. I've never had moth problems.
Lyn, thanks for the tip on the plastic bags.
