Hello, my name is Linda Hall and I have been producing Impressionistic felted art for the wall for a couple of years, now. I am a long-time quilter and teach quilting classes at the college level and for Bernina but am now officially a felter as well. I am passionate about everything felting - the smell of the animals, the feel of the different types of fibers, washing, dyeing, carding, combing, studying art, designing, etc, etc. I have come to conclusion that quilting pays my bills but felting is my passion. I do struggle to find time for it all, especially when travelling and teaching seems to take up my energy but that busy time is the spring and fall - summers and winters are for felting and learning how to do it better. I have learned so much from forums, art lessons, emails - practically everything you want to learn can be found on a forum. Thank you all for starting this new one and i hope to meet you all some day.
