Has anyone tried wet felting with Angora rabbit fibre? I've never tried it but it is supposed to be really soft. Does it felt well/quickly or does it take work?

I have felted with it and it felts fairly easily but it is really, really soft. It doesn't make a really hard felt and mine tended to shed quite a bit. Do you have some?

Thanks, Ruth. No, I've got some fake angora and just wondered how the real thing felts in case I see some for sale.

I have some fake angora as well but I'm not sure what to do with it. I guess mix it into something that does felt?

Yeah, or on top like silk top etc. A lot of the 'other' fibres look very similar but seem to have something that just makes them a little different.

I've never felted myself with angora, but I have read that if mixed with a soft merino, the felt is a little more consistent... f you want stronger and more durable... I really don't know.
