For those of you in the US, I thought you might like to see a little of Whitefish where my store is located. Whitefish will be featured on the TV show 'The Bachelor' on Monday, Feb. 4th. I personally have never watched the show but I guess I will to see what they show of the town. I don't think you'll be able to see the store (The Purple Pomegranate, big purple awning on the front) as they did the filming in the next block down but you never know. Hopefully, the publicity will bring more visitors this summer.

I may have to turn the sound off to keep from gagging, but I would enjoy seeing the town where your shop is located. I will set up the DVR.

To bad the bachelor didn't pop in to buy something for one of the ladies. It is such a silly premise along with the bachelorette. It makes you wonder what they think of themselves never mind the prize.

My theory is the "reality shows are anything but reality." I never watch any of them. I am a Downton Abbey fan. Can't wait for the next episode. Now you Brits who know the surprise shocker at the end of the season just keep it to yourself. I have not let anyone tell me yet. Was sad to see Sybil die, though.

This was a really, really stupid show. I know now why I don't watch this. I didn't see the entire show but you didn't get to see much of Whitefish. A big waste of time - luckily I was making dinner at the same time.

I detest so called reality TV too, as do so many others I know. It makes one wonder who watches them! Give me a good drama or documentary any day. Downton Abbey is good, though I think they are milking things a bit now, sometimes the BBC don't know when to stop. I didn't know it was showing across the pond.

Downton Abbey, is huge here in Canada too. I find it a bit to much. I heard on the news that it isn't as popular in England as it is everywhere else. I hear it romanticises the time and the upper class to much for some groups.

I fast forwarded through almost all of the Bachelor, but wow what scenery in Montana. What a beautiful place. It is one of the few states that I have never been in. T.V. stinks so bad, I would just stop paying the provider, if my husband would let me. It is a waste of time and money. However, I still like Masterpiece Theater and some other programs on our Public Television station.

I'm with you Judy. Downton Abbey is not perfect but I enjoy watching it. I get the same feeling of being whisked away to another world as I get when I read a good book. It's pure escapism with lovely scenery. (It was sad when Sybil died though.)
Reality t.v. should be banished to another planet.
I've just googled images of Montana - wow - it does look wonderful.

Yeah, I hate it that they killed off Sybil, but like you, I enjoy period pieces that take you away to another time. I enjoy the scenes with the interior of the beautiful mansion and the lovely clothes that the family wears to dinner. And, Oh I love the hats they wear. Someone almost told me the spoiler alert, but I told her to keep it to herself. I want to enjoy it to the end of the season. If I could just do anything I wanted, I would come visit you in Montana. I would visit your shop and see all the wonderful things you make. I would fly in an airplane and see those wonderful mountains. Don't know if I could talk my husband into it.

That's my lottery win dream, traveling all over seeing everyone and all the felt and art. If I want my husband with me I would have to drive.
