I never stay up late. I usually watch the ball come down on the east coast at 10pm and go to bed. Judy - is there a DVD or youtube I could watch instead? LOL

I know how to live it up on New Year's Eve.
It's 7pm in the UK now and I'm about to have some fish and chips, then a cuppa, and just before midnight my husband and I (did I sound like the Queen then?) will raise a glass with my mum and dad who live with us but in their own annexe. Then it's off to bed.
Ah, the high life eh?

We are watching some specials on TV. Some wine and shrimp dip with the family and then to bed. I have to get up and give the lamb breakfast in the morning no matter the day.

I must have missed the bit on the forum registration that suggests that members should preferably not be party-goers..........

I spent the Eve alone. My husband had to work all night, and we had freezing rain. Had planned to go see "Lincoln" So, I spent the night reading books on Lincoln. Wow, am I boring, or what?

So I sat up to watch London's fireworks and the crowds. Victor Meldrew - sorry my OH - went to bed, so I saw the New Year in with three dogs and a parrot - a nice glass of wine and a mince pie, what more could anyone want??
