Lovely tree. I just put all the Christmas decorations away and will get back to normal tomorrow. And....no more fattening foods in this house. I refuse to get on the scale until January 1st. lol

Good morning - it's boxing day here now and I'm enjoying my first cuppa and waiting for everyone else to surface. Two more family members arriving for lunch today but I'm struggling to think about preparing more food as I ate enough yesterday to last all week! I'm dreading the 1st of January 'weigh-in' because I started eating Christmas treats early - I work in a small public library where the customers are more like friends so in the run up to Christmas I get given chocolates, mince pies and biscuits. (Hmmm, I wonder what my new year resolution might be?)
Perhaps I will have to do extra vigorous felting in January to burn off the calories!
I'm looking forward to 2013 and I hope we all get our fair share of contentment.

I am tired from several days of craziness getting ready and then having Christmas. We ate late. The turkey took a little longer than expected. It was one of our own it was 33.6 pounds. It was very tasty. We also had a lamb yesterday and another today. Sneaky Ram. we had one a few days before Christmas too they're all black females. Do you think They heard me say I only wanted to keep a few balk females?

Wow Ann - a 33+ pound turkey is big. No wonder it took so long to cook. Those sheep have good ears!

They didn't tell me it was that big so I didn't start it early enough. It wasn't a problem we just sat around and chatted and played some games and ate about 8:00.

15.24kg? That's heavier than my little girl ;D I'm pescetarian so had salmon instead of poultry, it went down really well with the stuffing and Yorkshire puds lol. We had a quiet and easygoing couple of days, my OH was much more excited about our small one opening presents than she or I was
