Have fun in Wales. Are you after some welsh mountain sheep?

I should have thought of that Zed!
I did see a lot of sheep, but being Wales, they were all very wet and muddy.
I was visiting my sister-in-law's new home - she's just retired to Llanybydder.
Thank you Sulasmom!

Thank you Catherine!
Ann - You wanted to know how I got on with the cards. Well, I've been very short of time and I started my card-making too late, so I decided to print my cards in one action. (Usually I fold thick card stock, round the photo corners, double-side tape the photos on, decorate the front with gold or silver pen lines or something similar then make separate paper inserts that need trimming and sticking in.)
My printer won't take thick card stock so the card I've used is too thin for my liking and I miss the paper insert and the printed sheep doesn't look nearly as good as she would on a glossy photo.
But, disappointed though I am, I still prefer to use them rather than shop-bought.
Memo to self - start earlier next year!!!
On the front of the card, with the sheep image, are the words to a carol: "While shepherds watched their flocks by night, all seated on the ground, the angel of the Lord came down and glory shone around."
Then inside is a 'funny' (I couldn't give credit to the author as I was unable to find that out, so I've just put 'author unknown' at the end).
The Union of Shepherds has complained that it breaches health and safety regulations to insist that shepherds watch their flocks without appropriate seating arrangements being provided. Therefore benches, stools and orthopaedic chairs should now be made available.
Shepherds have also requested that due to the inclement weather conditions at this time of year that they should watch their flocks via CCTV cameras from centrally heated shepherd observation huts.
And please note, the Angel of the Lord is respectfully reminded that before shining his/her glory all around he/she must first ascertain that all shepherds have been issued with glasses capable of filtering out the harmful effects of UVA, UVB and Glory.

Sounds about right. I am always amazed by how everything degenerates to political correctness. lol

The funny inside is great. Sometimes we have to settle for what we can do and not what we wish we could do. I right that start sooner note to myself all the time. Never seems to take though.

That's really funny, Lyn I'm thinking of buying a goat or something for a third world family instead of cards this year.

Zed - that's a good idea and very in keeping with the true spirit of Christmas.

Lyn I had a chuckle about your post, I don't think there is a day that goes by these past few months when don't I exclaim at the end of it that I have "run out of daylight'.....where does the time go.

Oh dear, so you don't know about the fibre fairies then Tess?
Well, when we're busily ripping wool tops apart, all the stray fibres that become airborne are caught by sunbeams and made into fairies that can only survive by eating our time.
(I've just re-read that - what the heck did I put in my tea this afternoon?)
