Hi there... newbie Caryn here... new to this forum I mean! I have a delightful poncho I just finished. Here are a couple of photos of it. I love the way it turned out, except when wearing it I noticed some "Fuzzy" fibers that I'd have liked to see felted a bit tighter. Have any of you tried wetting a piece down again, soaping it, and rolling it in plastic to put it in the washer for a few minutes? I'm tempted to do this, but I don't want to ruin the poncho! Any other suggestions? Thanks so much for any advise! Caryn PS: I just saw that you'd have to have instagram to see the photo... Is there any way to insert photos I have on my computer?? https://www.instagram.com/p/C2vsuOdpmYb

The poncho is fabulous! Love it! Did you make the hat too because that's stunning.
Have you ever tried spot fulling? Wet down the fuzzy fibre area and just work on that for a bit? Or are the fuzzy fibres all over the poncho?
When you create a thread you will see an icon along the top that looks like a picture on a wall. If you hover over that it will say 'insert image' and when you click on it you can insert the url of the image. However the image needs to already be on another platform - I don't believe you can insert directly from your pc into a thread.

Thank you all for your advise! I re-felted and when it's dry, I certainly try spot felting if there are still fuzzy areas! Thanks for your compliments on the poncho... and Yes, I made the hat as well! My first love is making hats, but I'm really enjoying making the ponchos, bog jackets, shawls, and vests. I like to make them art pieces if you will, with lots of design. I use the Fibonacci principle in many of my shawls! It's wonderful, and they sell immediately! I'll send more pics... If any of you see my pics and have any suggestions, I'm very open and would welcome your input! Here is a shawl I made using the Fibanacci principle of design: Thanks again for your warm welcome! PS: I made the hats that are shown in these photos as well! tried to link another photo of another shawl made using the Fiabanacci principle, but it looks like I can't embed two different photo links to this thread... is that right? I'll make another thread after this one! https://www.instagram.com/p/CuXX5kfr6Tq https://www.instagram.com/p/CuXX5kfr6Tq

Beautiful colors. I'm not sure why your Instagram photos are not showing here but as Lyn said, you can click on them to go to your account.
