My grand-daughter was here Sunday, I was working on a small needle felted item and was getting rather over it all as it was getting distorted the more I poked it, I asked Miss 8 did she think it looked like some horses........long pause then a very unconvincing reply, "well sort of Grandma........or some dogs." Too funny, I'm sure we've all had those days when nothing goes right, I put it aside and started afresh, she gave me a chuckle and only reinforced what I already new I just had to hear it , there is nothing more truthful than a child.

Wonderful!
If only we could bottle the words that come out of the little darlings and save them for rainy days.

I once made some American Doll clothes for one of my granddaughters. When I came to visit some time later, I saw the doll. I said, "Oh, I see she is still wearing her dresses that I made." She said, "You know grandma, she doesn't grow." lol

Karen, when Charlie does say things that make you laugh, write them down.
My grand-daughter is 9 now, and over the years has said some wonderful things that made us belly-laugh, but sitting here today I can't bring to mind one thing.
