Hi I'm so happy to be part of the group. I've been getting the emails for a while and enjoy them so much. When I saw the challenge to make cards, I thought well now's the time for sure. I've been wanting to try my hand at cards and now I have a deadline. My sister, Wendy, and I have been felting for a number of years and we have a small business selling our wares. Mostly we have been going to local markets, but with Covid we are trying a few online ones instead. So far, online is not nearly as much fun as going to a market and actually seeing people. However, we are very lucky to be able to connect through platforms such as this. We do both wet and needle felting and would make way, way more if only we had the time. Because of our busy lifestyles at the moment we tend to stick mostly to smaller projects which don't mess up the house too much. Too much is a relative term and I'm sure my husband would think that wool spread from one end of the place to the other is too much, but I would make a much bigger mess if I thought I could get away with it.

Hello Janet. Time is an issue with me too - a busy life means squeezing felting in to whatever gaps I can find and husbands just don't understand the need for a stash of fibre goodies that grows and grows over the years.
Looking forward to seeing some of your work.
