Hoping to get some time this weekend to take some photo's using the soft box light tent we bought. Will be able to have a space set aside for photography finally. The weeks are flying by just getting over a stinking cold and had some dental work done. The goats need a haircut within the next few weeks the weather today is wild wet and windy, typical spring weather for us.

I'm looking forward to seeing the photos too The light has changed here now and is getting better for taking photos, I was all set up to take some the other day when someone in the flats opposite opened their window and reflected the sun right at my window and put huge shadows on the table! Grrr

We have an auction web site here similar to Ebay, called trade me and a seller lists these for $1 starting so OH has been watching for weeks and managed to bid and get this one for $71 including lights etc, so he's chuffed with himself. The full price is between $130 to $180 depending on the size.

The purse is lovely - the horses on it are fab! (And the photo's pretty good too!)
I'm intrigued (aka nosey) by the room in which you've set up your light tent. Is it a dedicated craft/hobby room?

Hi Lyn, yes its all mine, (wicked evil laugh). We have converted the hay loft of the old barn into my studio. Took me a year to convince my OH it was a great idea, course in doing this we lost our hay storage space but it was murder each year hauling bales of hay up there in the first place so we had to build some hay sheds around the property. The stairs up to it were quite a saga took 8 months to get those conmpleted and they are nothing fancy, some freinds said they;d do it but he turned out to be a real cheeky buggar and wanted to take most of my trees off the property in exchange for putting them in, so we ended up getting a semi retired builder in to do the job but even then it was painful as he drove a school bus and could only do an hour each day. Only 8 steps up but I had to scrub 120 years of dirt and grime off the floorboards and it was hard going climbing up a ladder from the outside with buckets of soapy water that would clean about a foot square before the water turned black.. Now that I'm in and getting my areas set up all the bad times are but a distant memory. Have posted some photos of the conversion process on here somewhere.

I must've had a senior moment Tess, yes, you did post about it - how did I not remember?
Look on the bright side - you must've got very fit lugging all those pails of water up and down to scrub the floor!

The word Lyn was absolutley exhausted.!!!! Still have some work to finish off like painting the window sills and a quick re-paint of the laundry where the stairs are but overall thrilled to bits with it all, just to walk away from some work and it not be in anyone's way.

Hi Ruth this particular one measures 60cm x 60 cm x 60cm, I think they also do a larger sized one but for my needs this one will do be just fine.
