Hello Members, I'm Caryn, and I live in Reno NV. I started felting a bit over a month ago, and I've made 4 vessels, 3 wall hangings, 4 needle felted doggies and a Lucille Ball! Oh and a Nuno felted scarf that didn't work very well (actually tried it twice but won't give up)! And I made a hat, not beautiful but wearable! And I'm needle felting small 4 x 4 squares with pictures of botanicals (organic plants that I grow); when done with the 28 of them, I'll arrange and frame then on a vertical piece of cotton gauze!
I can't stop! And what's the secret to stop buying new and beautiful roving and equipment and books?? I"m "hooked!"
I'm looking forward to reading hints and asking for advise. So nice to meet you all!
Felting forward, Caryn

Welcome to the forum. sounds like you are well and truly addicted. There is no secret you just keep doing buying what you like. You just get more picky as you find out what you like to work with. I hope you post some pictures to show us what your doing.

Welcome Caryn. Judging by our discussions I fear you are asking the wrong people about how to stop buying felting supplies. I can certainly speak for myself here. Storage is not the answer but it helps. Glad you’ve joined us. Wade in and show us some of your work. People here are very kind and supportive.
