Thanks for letting me know about the Book Depository for Australians Christie. I guess I will just go with a sticker for those who are in other countries.
Ann - It is $10 to Canada.
Judy - it is meant for beginners and it has info about machine needle felting as well as wet felting, nuno felting and 3D needle felting. It also has info on washing/preparing fiber/wool, dyeing and a bit about design.
I will make an announcement as soon as I get the shop stuff worked out so anyone in US can buy a signed copy from my blog.

Ok Ruth, that sounds good. I am up to my neck in shows right now. But I will have some down time at the beginning of the year when I can take my time and do some research.

The sticker idea is a good one. My girlfriend told me the USPS is basically being forced into not being able to run so it can be privatised.

Thanks Lyn - I'd appreciate it if after you read it that you take a moment to write a review on Amazon.

I'll do that now Ruth - I'll also blog about it soon.
edit - I've left a comment, but I wonder if it will only appear on Amazon UK? Also, it takes up to 48 hours to be moderated.
Sorry, but it's under my Amazon review name of Crafty Clara - really awful I know - I don't know what got into me when I made that up a few years ago.
Amazon review: I highly recommend this book - I know I will use it time and time again. It's a substantial book packed with useful information and clearly written with experience. Every technique is explained, step-by-step, in an easy to understand way and accompanied by colour photographs. Fibre preparation, carding, dyeing, traditional wet felting, needle felting (by hand and machine) and nuno felting are all covered in depth. The thing I like best about this book is the author's willingness to share all her knowledge - nothing is held back.

That is so nice Lyn! Thanks. I have no idea if the reviews show up on US Amazon from the UK. I guess we'll find out.

I just looked. The review is up on amazon.uk but it doesn't show up on the US Amazon. No worries though. I've asked others from the US to write reviews. It's helpful to have them in both places. I really appreciate it.
