Hope your're all dry. OH is just chatting on skype to his mum who lives in North wales. No flooding for her thank heavens, such a worry when we are so far away.

I'm ok here, the rain runs away quite quickly - I live in almost the highest part of Southampton.
I feel so sorry for those whose homes have flooded.

I'm alright. I just clicked to see a UK flood alert map and it was almost everywhere. I can't imagine how awful it is to be flooded. I hope your mum in law stays dry too

A tornado went through here yesterday and we lost one of our big trees. This is so sad, as we will not live long enough to see another grow that big. It was a scary sight to see it come down. Now we have more storm warnings and I am nervous. Almost everyone in our neighborhood lost trees.

Wow, that must be scary. There were about 3 or 4 tornadoes pictured in the newspaper over the past few days, but only rarely do they cause damage.
I think our trees must be made of rubber, we get such high winds, but I've only seen two trees go in the past 15 years
