Have anyone made felted hot water bottle cover? I got some questions about making them at fairs and a direct request/order from a customer on ETSY. I am not very keen due to specific shape but it's an interesting item to try... Would be grateful for any thoughts on the subject !

It's an odd shape for sure. I've seen bottle covers that have a flap about halfway down the back and the bottle is squeezed in and the flap shut but I think the felt would stretch out of shape. I spotted this one with a flap at the bottom that could work? Then the top part that takes the 'stopper' could be completely enclosed. Credit to THIS BLOG

Thank you Lyn, it's an interesting idea. Gives more flexibility with the shape...

Lyn - thanks for the link to the lovely blog, those hotties look smart, those iron on flowers are cute. Galina - Yes I could see that working very well with a flap at the bottom, and a couple of buttons, go for it, you could manage that!

When I read your post Galina, I thought we had someone show us a hot water bottle cover that was felted before. But I searched and didn't find anything. Lyn's idea looks pretty good though.
