As you know already from what I make and post, I do love colour, and am not one for the natural greys and beiges of undyed wool. So......here's my latest piece which I've made as an unframed wall hanging, inspired by the gorgeous sunsets I get to see from my back garden at this time of year. I got a bit carried away throwing everything at it but I love the colours which make me smile. There's silk fabric, organza, copper trilobal, curly locks, silk fibre, viscose fibre, embroidery threads and machine embroidery www.flickr.com/photos/marian_e_may/albums/72157686482992632

Fabulous! It looks good unframed too. I think the mixture you threw at it worked very well and the colours are indeed 'happy'.

Your colours are gorgeous and all the different fibres coming together to create your sunsets.

Great Piece I love the colour and texture. I leave home before sunrise these days and the sunrises are so inspiring.

Really beautiful! I'm sure the kitchen sink's in there somewhere but I can't see it 'cause everything blends together so well! ;-)

It looks stunning - I LOVE the color blend and the materials you've used. Even if you hadn't told us it's inspired by sunsets - I immediately thought of it. I agree with lyn - it looks good without a frame too.
