I like the dark background - it makes the pretty flowers stand out well. I really like the 'bits' in front of the base of the jug - nice finishing touch!

That's really nice, Tracey Would it be alright with you if I put the link on our well being centre group's Facebook page? It's a closed group. I'd like to show them how the elemnts we're using like twists, locks, nepps etc can be used really well to make pictures.

That's really pretty and delicate and a lovely colour palette - I like that your nepps haven't clumped up (or all fallen off)

I assume you received your fine sprayer, do you like it? I find mine invaluable to start wetting down a flyaway piece, then I swap to a bottle.

Oh yes, hate clumpy nepps! I have tended to put a little too much wool over the top of them too which doesn't help, just because I was afraid of them falling off in the felting process. As for the water sprayer.......well, I didn't get on all that well with it and found it still tended to shift some of the fibres around and I couldn't judge how much water I was putting on. I've reverted to tutu netting and a sponge, but do no rubbing through the netting. I then switch to painters plastic and a sander for large pieces. I may well give it another go sometime but it's funny isn't it how we tend to stick to what we know even when something could be better!

No it's totally fine to stick with what you prefer, as long as we are pleased with the outcome, it doesn't matter how we get there!
