Wow what interesting texture you got. I love it . My daily dose yesterday was getting some soap ready to be felted but the day before I finished a "spring" coloured wrap.

Cool Nada!Good way to use scraps. Reminds me of a river or stream bottom with water running over the rocks.

Great texture and use of scraps Nada. A good idea to use it as a chair mat.

Nada - I think that felt would make a lovely bag.

Yes, Lyn, I got the same idea. I just need to collect more scraps in matching colours.

My daily dose was cutting up a scarf I bought from a charity shop for £1, as I thought it may be good surface design, but it is lovely as undergrowth in a picture. I am using it in the picture I posted in the not felting your felt thread. It is actually the same colours as my crater bag, lime green and brown. It looks like tiny eyelashes. I checked Marilyn's post a while back when she used riot eyelash yarn and it is different, so I don't know what it is but it's useful! www.dropbox.com/s/0t4tfg6zcotrxnf/20170227_151948.jpg?dl=0www.dropbox.com/s/8bv6kuujumiub2i/20170227_151835.jpg?dl=0

Bargain scarf as the yarn is made up of lovely colours.
I've got some (different colour) and I call it flag yarn (good a name as any) and it does felt in well.

Interesting: I was looking at such yarn in a shop and wondering how it would felt it. I would like to see a photo of the projects you have made using it.

I used some in my table runner and it felted just fine. The little flags didn't felt but even though it's synthetic the wool grabbed enough to felt in between the flags. Have fun!

I thought ladder yarn had yarn on both sides of the flags. I have a bunch. I usually put wisps of wool over it. It doesn't shrink so expect some looping.

I'm no expert Ann and the stuff I have was not store bought so there was no label. Just guessing.
