First you have to figure out if they are wool moths or cereal moths. they look alike. Where are you seeing the moths? when are you seeing the moths? in the light or dark.

ok then they are likely cereal moths. Fiber moths do not come out in the light or moving air. They only fly short distances and almost seem to fall where they are going. If you have barely in the kitchen they are very bad for moths. I keep mine in the freezer. Sometime it is a box of cereal like cheerios or shreddies. Oatmeal or bran can harbour them. look for the bag of wheat berries or such in the back of you cupboard.

I now have moths in my house. Help! I have cedar in my storage rooms but it's not helping. Suggestions? I am in the uk and started needle felting about 6 months ago. I remembered that moths can be a problem with wool. I store my wool in large plastic bins and thought it could do no harm to add some lavender bags after reading this in a magazine. 'Sachets filled with lavender (and/or laced with its oil) and suspended in your closet or tucked in your drawers are said to protect woolens. They will also leave a pleasant scent behind. Lavender will not, however, kill moth eggs or larvae, so be sure the space is free of them first.' Sorry this is not much help at the moment but may be helpful for future storage. Just joined the forum and looking forward to reading all the lovely information and meeting new people Sue
