The weather is very changeable here and the ponies have had rugs on for a few days. I took our little mare's rug off to see this; Pulled off; It seems she felts! Lol

Yep pony dread locks. Just about any hair will felt under the right conditions. Now you have to make something out of it.

Ha ha, I have heard that cats and dogs felt also. I am allergic, so I wouldn't know. Besides, I have no room for a pony. lol

Lyn as long as its clean its no differ ant than any other animal hair. I have to confess I have the makings of a "rat" I do collect my hair because I want to make a rat to help make some of the old fashioned hairstyles. I am collecting hair and a friend and I are going to figure out how you do it.
