I am new in this forum, and I am looking forward to learn many new things. I began with Nuno felting two months ago as an autodidact, but I finished already three items: a scarf, two tops (not yet sewn together) and a poncho. The process gives me great pleasure. In Germany Nuno felting is not so popular, therefore I bought some tutorials and I watched som Youtube videos, that helped me very much. I think here are some experienced felters, and I hope you all will support me. Thank you!

Welcome Cherry100! It's great you've started your fiber journey and are hooked like the rest of us. We love to see pictures and answer questions. Please don't be shy. We are a community of worldwide fiber enthusiasts from beginners to experts.
Where in Germany are you located? I subscribe to the Filz Fun magazine. While I can't read the German version, they do provide an English supplement.
I look forward to seeing your creations!

Hi Marilyn,
thank you for your warm welcome. I am living near Heidelberg (or Mannheim and Frankfurt), a very nice region. I am almost 70 years old, but I always want to try something new. I just ordered the Filz Fun magazine, i didn't know it.
Silvia

You're welcome Silvia! It's great to continue to learn things. We're about the same age and I started felting about four years ago and have been in love ever since. I was in Germany, mostly Bavaria, last year. A lovely country and warm people. Perhaps some day I'll get to Heidelberg. :-)

Hi Silvia, welcome to the forum I discovered the German wollknoll last year and got some great wools from there, I wish I'd got lots of silk when it was really cheap to dye for nuno felting!

Hi Silvia, I am new to felting too, I did a workshop at the end of June this year and it was one of life's treasured memories, I loved every second and have been hooked since. Enjoy! Tracey
