Yes Ann ... FedEx is the only shipping company I use for all of my imports as I have built up a good relationship with them, and made some handy contacts too <wink>
Problem is money ... right now our exchange rate is 14.42 to the US Dollar so you can imagine how much money I am spending on just the shipping alone! It's more economical for me to ship in the USA and have everything sent to my agents and then just have the one box shipped to South Africa, at a reduced rate because of my membership.

Hello Zara
THANK YOU for those links! Believe me, I have searched high and dry for roving suppliers in my own country and only found one and their micron count is 23 and above, and I don't want to work with that.
Once I have depleted my incoming stock I will definitely be looking at the local suppliers and see how their quality compares.
Many thanks! Regards Linn

Hi Linn
Glad to hear that I may have been able to help! :-) Do let us know if you manage to find a good supplier in South Africa.
I do a lot of felting with wool from Swedish breeds, and within that range, anything under 30 microns would be considered as fine wool. ;-) But it of course depends on what you are planning to felt. I use our Swedish courser wool for things like rugs, handbags and slippers - and I order merino from World of Wool for anything you may want to wear closer to your skin. :-)
All the best, Zara
