I was given a big bag of necklaces which I took apart to end up with a big bag of beads! I rather liked these turquoise beads and followed instructions on Fiona Duthie's online course to felt them into a little vessel. I spent a long time rubbing the vessel before rolling and I think it's turned out quite well. The colour of the vessel is a bit yuk, but it serves me right for using brown.

It turned out really well. You could over dye the whole thing if you want to. Overdyeing coloured wool gives you some nice effects.

Looks great smiff. I think the color is fine, I like the mix of wool colors with the pops of turquoise beads.

It's a lovely vessel Smiff! There's nothing wrong with the colour of the wool - it lets the turquoise shine through.

I agree about the colour, it really matches with the turquoise and shows it off, it looks great

Great recycling of the necklaces Smiff, this could have gone into Ann's challenge!

Lovely effect Smiff. Those turquoise beads really shine against the muted background.
