Thanks, I did get stopped at the show quite often and asked if I made my outfit. One lady even asked to take a picture! LOL I wore the brown outfit on day one and different one on day two with more colour ( a lot more) and that too gained a lot of comment which was nice. Day three was warmer so I didn't wear felt that day and I was also pretty worn out by then so it became a shorter day all round. Day five saw me en route home with a four hour drive so in all a tired but satisfied me was glad to see my own bed at the end.

Wow Sue, that sounds like a Marathon event but pleased you enjoyed it and that your outfits got so much attention and favouable comments. It's great to go on trips, but always good to to be home and in one's own bed. Ann - you must share pics of your sunset scarf.

Nice Batts Judith. I will try to get a picture of the scarf tomorrow early before the sun gets to the front of the house. I have to refelt one of the small pieces for pouches. It isn't felted enough for me. funny that the other one is fine when they were both felted together at the sae time.

Last night I ran a workshop and everyone made purses and glasses cases to add snap top fasteners to, they are just gorgeous, we're meeting again in October and I'll remember to get pics, they're a clever lot :-)
Those batts are great Judith, I started last night practising with hand carders whilst my group felted, it's a long slow haul..... so I am impressed with your stash :-)

Sue, how wonderful people loved your outfits. I'm sure even though it was a full five days, it was worth every minute! I can't wait to see the pics.
Judith you are really going to town with your new carder. Nice batts!
Carole, did you take pics of your workshop? Please share! Or write a blog for us next time.

Here is the finished Shawl. It need ironing. Its ok, I wish I had put more wool on it. It is very cobwebby and that's not my favourite thing. Then again, it's not for me. and close up the wool side and close up

Love the colors Ann! Can you add more wool and re-felt it?

I think its finished so adding more would be hard. Someone will love it the way it is. I just like mine a little sturdier.
