Lately, I have spent a lot of time eco-printing and natural dyeing, but I set aside a day or two recently to get back to felting. I have always enjoyed felting scarves and wraps, and so that’s what I decided to do. Felting a design by catwycliff, on Flickr It’s good to be felting again! What have you been felting (embroidering, dyeing, spinning…) lately?

Nice wrap Cathy. The second photo can be seen by clicking on the first and scrolling left. I'm joining in the Tour de Fleece which is running alongside the Tour de France. We're spinning while the cyclists are riding; setting our own Challenges; Sprint, Climb, Time etc. Le Depart is later this morning. Allez, allez, allez!

Whose wheels will be spinning the fastest Judith - fiberists or cyclists?
Lovely wrap Cathy - very pretty.

Have fun Judith! Don't let the wheel go so fast it spins you into outer space! :-0

Should have been spinning Laoghtan to support Mark Cavendish. He did very well without me though.

Nice scarf Cathy
I had good fiber thoughts for Canada day. I took a spindle and red fiber to spin but the weather was not cooperative at all. Maybe tonight while watching TV.

I'd already started on this, but finished it yesterday. Moorit, spun in the grease. Really soft and lofty now it's washed. moorit by Judith Robinson, on Flickr

My dose of fibre for this weekend is pulling bobbly bits of wool from netting to clean them up for workshops I made up about 20 packages of yarns and embellishments for a workshop on Tuesday, it's amazing just how long it takes to cut yarns into 12 inch lengths, choose 12 for each colour scheme and then add matching fibres.
