I'm new to felting. I have a wonderful studio in the middle of our home and enjoy creating something each day. I am an artist so I love learning and experimenting. I'm just learning about felting, really not knowing what I am doing, but diving in. I am learning from the posts here and am having a good time. Great way to start off 2016!

Hi Marlene, good to see you Do you have a blog or flickr or somewhere you share your artistic creations? It's nice to see what others do whether fibre related or not.

Hello Marlene and welcome to the forum! What kind of art do you like to make? Just diving in is the best way to learn felting. No fear just fun.

So why does the Brit say "howdy" and the Yank say "Hello"? :-) Have fun with everything! This is a great group to learn from.

Hello Elizabeth - I'm a Brit and I would never say "howdy" (I think that's what cowboys say?). I would say "hello" or perhaps "hi".

Up here we often say 'how do' so a jokey 'howdy' isn't far off
