Hi everyone! :)
The name's Wolfrott - 28, hailing from Australia!
I'm a dry needle felt artist, and even though I am now bedridden due to my physical disability, I can still felt. I have been felting for roughly five years now I think. I started off with kits from Etsy and then trying tutorials in books, and now I make my own. I am practicisng mostly cats, dogs, domestic and wild animals like sheep, donkeys, deer, foxes, squirrels, etc. I use wire armature sometimes for the skeleton but refuse to touch cheap (it's cheating too TBPH) pipe cleaners, or the new frightening trend of painting patterns on the wool itself, which I'll never understand.
I love Corriedale and Merino wool the best, but also love alpaca, baby yak, baby camel, and mixed.
Glad to be here! :D

Hi Wolfrott & welcome,
I only make wet felt & am in awe of the people who can work so small & delicately to do needle felted creatures..... I'd love to see photos of your work

Welcome to the Forum, Wolfrott! I tried to view your needle-felted animals but the Deviant site says they are available only to members. Anyway you can post a couple of pics here? I am a wet felter, needle-felter and nuno-felter. Some of us do it all!

Welcome Wolfrott! We love pics. I tried also to view the site and the pics are locked. It's great you can continue your love of felting. I do mostly wet felting, but lately have been combining some needlefelting into my work to create more dimension. Please visit our studio site to see more of what we do. Www.feltingandfiberstudio.com. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Wow, that is odd! I tried checking my settings but I can't find anything about registered or public viewing. I'll keep checking to find it so I can fix it, but for now I'll upload my gallery to imgur!

I feel so stupid, lol! The deviation upload page has a section saying 'share or keep hidden' button I never noticed. I was used to the old DeviantArt features layout hence my mistake :)
Excited to be a member here! It's fantastic to see an active fibre art community!
