Thanks. I'm thinking of using them with some other natural dyed yarns to embellish the large hanging I made recently. It's now hand and machine quilted, edged, sleeves applied top and bottom and ready to hang - so I wonder whether more is too much, or less is more....... Hmmm?

If it's ready to hang Judith, I think I might quit

Ready to hang sounds like time to quit to me too, even if the tread is lovely. My daily dose was teaching a slipper class. I did not get any pictures. I know that was bad of me. I did take one picture at of the tables ready for students to arrive. Not very exiting. then I for got to do anymore.

It is always hard to remember to take photos in a class, isn't it Ann? You get involved and completely forget the camera.

Yeah, me too Judith's right, unless there's some other point of reference to know when something was I'm stumped. I know it wasn't Wednesday. Those yarns are gorgeous, Judith, they remind me of natural metals.

The dyed crochet threads seem to glow…wonder if there’s a bit of silk in there, Judith.
And yes, less is always more, in my book!

With this metalic look and shine your dyed yarns are absolutely fantastic. There must be silk in there.

Cotton pearl or bamboo? Either way the colors are great Judith.

More likely synthetic - it was extremely cheap stuff which I bought for a rope and tassel project. It looks good plyed with a matt yarn.

I thought perle cotton too, what's the word... mercerised or something which gives it the shine? Burn test indicates it might be rayon.
