My lovely card came zooming across the pond from Koffipot sometime this weekend. It was lovely to find it in the mail (post) upon returning from a weekend with the in-laws My camera does not capture the subtle colors well at all. There are blues shading to pinks with lavenders in-between. The background looks like it's a warm gold. Thank you bunches, Judith! I guess now I need to get started on my swap for Raven333; no more excuses

Yep. That captures the lovely colors so much better than my pathetic attempt. So sorry, Judith.

That's OK Elizabeth, I'm no photographer either, this was just taken on a good day. :

Ruth - many many thanks both are beautiful. I guess I should learn how to do the all the stitching you did on the larger piece and those tiny holes you made really set off the piece. And I am thankful for a bit of snow. Be sure to click on and enlarge the photos so you can see the beautiful detail.

I got mine finished today. I should have got it done early and mailed it but part of it would not do what I wanted and I had to redo it 4 times. It is all done now an I should have it in the mail tomorrow Luvswool(Cathy)

Ruth, those pieces you made for Frances are rather special - can you share your method please? are the snowflakes stamped onto a piece of felt then machine stitched? (or patterned fabric? or something else?) I really love it.
