I'm always on the lookout for new felting books. Recently, Barnes and Noble had a 20% off sale and I purchased this new book. It arrived today. There's probably nothing new in terms of felting, but just paging thru I thought some of her styles were interesting. Has anyone seen this book or know this felter? feltingandfiberstudio.files.wordpress.com/2016/10/xetiqqmphqq9vqyrgom9.jpgAttachments:

Marilyn, I have never heard of that artist/author, but I also enjoy being inspired by other artists. Here’s a book I bought recently, mainly for inspiration. It’s not really a “how-to” guide. Felting Inspiration by catwycliff, on Flickr

Cathy next lunch we'll have to bring our new books. I think I've seen that one. Who is the author?

We would love to hear some reviews of the books. I don't buy very many books because I am usually disappointed.

Marilyn, the author is Francoise Tellier-Loumagne. Ruth, I have had the same disappointing experiences with art books.

I've returned many books because they were a disappointment. I looked closer at this one and it's a little bit of everything, some instruction, but she details projects she's done. She uses a combination of wet, needle felting, free motion stitching, sewing, hand stitching, Nuno, and using paper and other objects in her designs. She is heavily influenced by history and does extensive research before creating a series of designs. She has some unusual complicated designs.

Yes some reviews would be great. The book store never has the books, you have to order them.

I've not seen either of those books. Like Ruth, I never bother because they're usually disappointing. The covers look good, though.
