Well, I have done the embroidery around the small drapery rings, but never saw this before. I am printing it off. What a great idea. Hope I can follow the directions.

thanks Judy, it took me a few minutes to realise I was meant to be looping my thread around my back stitch, or should that be, when the stitch came back to the front it went through the thread? I wish I knew stitching terminology to describe things

I tried a fimo piece, but it was a bit chunky and didn't look as nice, but I'll be looking for other things to use too

You should Lyn, it's great I tried it on some beach glass that was an odd shape and it still worked well

Really cool Zed! We are studying Indian embroidery in class. They use tons of shisha mirrors. We haven't learned how to attach them though.

Thanks It really is easy once you get in the swing, it's just a loop over and a back stitch, loop over, back stitch etc.
