Thanks Aphee. I've never heard of that breed, but evidently there are now breeders here in the US. I imagine due to climate, feed etc. it may not be the same as the original Ouessant. Have you ever tried wet felting with it? I know with the embellisher it's not as much an issue for shrinkage, etc. especially if you combine fibers for a softer type fabric.

In fact on the island there weren't sheep last century and it's thanks to those in the rest of France that this type of sheep didn't disappear I don't do wet felting (well let's say for the moment) because I have chronicle problems with my right arm (hand and shoulder) that's what led me to machines So I didn't try. Would you like that I send you a sample to try ?

That sounds like here in the US they are trying to keep the Navaho churro from disappearing. They are considered a rare breed.
