Thought I'd use some locks in my needlefelting. I've found some pretty Gotland and mohair locks. Pros and cons? The teeswater are lovely, but pretty pricey here in the states from my search.

Locks work great in needle felting. Either as for things like hair or on the surface flat.

any type works the Teeswater is expensive because it is usually really long. It is a lot of work to keep a sheep with really long wool and have nice locks to sell at the end. I would like to see what gotland looks like if they shear it once a year instead of twice.

Yep, locks are fantastic! I use Tibetan lambs wool locks for tails and manes :) also angora (reputable source) and mohair.
