Hi, My name is Judy but I will be known here as "fiberholic". I have done most of the regular fiber stuff, spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting and now, felting. I'm new to that work but am loving it. Wet felting mostly, at this point, but needle felting to complement the wet felting and now I'm looking forward to embellishing with a Pfaff Smart 350p machine which should arrive next week. I was a jeweler but have put that aside for now and have gone back to the tactile pleasure of fiber and, missing my sheep and goats that I gave up in 1999, I am loving the sheepy fragrance of unwashed wool. I'm here to learn and I hope you will be patient with me as I do so. I will "search" what I can but I'm sure I will ask newbie questions that have been asked a gazillion times before. Thank you for my membership and for all of the experience and knowledge that has gone before me. I am so glad to be here.

But this is NOT a 12-step club for addicts. NONE of us have a fiber problem. None of us need to recover from a felting addiction!!! ;-)

Hi Judy, welcome to the forum Don't worry about asking as many questions as you like, even if you do see them asked before, we're all always learning, so there's always something new to contribute. Also there are new members all the time who might have different perspectives

I heard immersion therapy works, you just keep buying wool and fibres and wait for it to work
