Welcome Patty. Your slippers are lovely. I think many of us here are 'lone felters' - I am too. It's fun working with the grandchildren though, mine enjoy getting stuck into some felting too. I was amused at your beret ending up fitting your granddaughter, my first pair of slippers which were meant to be for me ended up fitting my then not quite 5 year old granddaughter! Younger brother immediately ordered a similar pair in blue. Look forward to seein more of your work.

Great job on your projects Patty. It is fun including the grandchildren. I remember I tried to make a set of booties for my dog (a 4# Yorkie) and they turned out so small, they wouldn't even work for finger puppets

Frances, Thank you! No I didn't have shoe lasts. I fitted the wet slipper to the kids feet and carefully removed them to hold the shape while they dried.

You are doing great. Having fun with your grand kids is great way to learn and to get them into wool.

Great fun Patty, but how did you get the kids to sit still for the slippers? :-)

Your projects are all great and it looks like you and the grandkids really enjoy it My first (only) slippers were so huge, I thought I'd never shrink them down, but they ended up more like those thin, foot shaped running shoes or thick fitted foot socks
