Hi,
My name is Patty, and I am new to needle and wet felting. I have found there are not a whole lot folks in my area that do wet felting. I am hoping this forum will be a place to ask questions from those wet felters among you!

Welcome Patty! Great idea to jump onboard by taking the beginner’s felting class offered above, taught by an expert felter.

Wow, what a great welcome. I live in Windham, ME. All this snow makes for a great time in doors to felt. So far I have wet felted pair of slippers for myself and had fun making them with my grandchildren. I have one beret that was for my daughter, but ended up fitting my granddaughter, and another attempt that failed so I am trying to salvage it as a neck warmer! I have done several needle felted animals. I am excited to be able to ask questions! I am kind of learning by trial and error. Which, I don't mind, but would be fun to have someplace to post to. I will definitely look into the on-line beginners course. Thank you all again! I will attached images for you to see. Attachments:

This was a fun project I did with the grands. Hot water, a dot of dish soap, work for a minute, flit, work for another minute, rinse with cold water while still in the cupcake cup, flipping as you go, and repeat hot and cold again. takes about 10 mins. They loved it!

My Grandchildren like small animals, so I am having fun with this! I am not a knitter, but felt is a whole nother thing! So fun!

Your work is great - did you have shoe lasts for the slippers?
