I'm laughing Ann! Getting people to do the dirty work gratis is an art I've yet to learn! Perhaps there's a tut. somewhere on Youtube!

LOL, Ann. We're so bundled up in our own cities these days that the only way someone is willing to experience nature is with a paid guide. Sad. I dearly enjoyed my days catching minnows & fireflies and grubbing for frogs!

I would be happy to help with sheep shearing for no pay - I was fortunate to get laid off from my Corporate Job at age 45 and not ever go back to full time work. I have had part time seasonal jobs at Plant Nurseris. Because of not having a full time job I have volunteered hundreds of hours sharing my knowledge of things I love. So yes, I understand working for free - very rewarding.

I understand volunteering. I do a lot for that too. It doing something for free that will make the person you are doing it for money and not even getting a discount for helping that seem a little much to me.

I just sent a draft text and a bunch of photos to Marilyn for a post on the blog about how I handle raw fleeces. It does take time to sort, wash, dry and card a fleece - but it is a "labour of love". :-) AND we are expecting cute lambs in the beginning of May. :-)

I recently joined a Swedish FB group for sheep owners, and there are lots of photos of newborn lambs being posted now from the south of Sweden. Up here in the north spring comes much later (we often still get snow at the end of April), so we plan our lambings for later. Until then, I can show you our firstborns last year (photos taken just after birth). ;-)

WOW is WOW!!! Our order just arrived Fedex! OMG, can’t believe it! Just ordered on 2/27 at midnight, that’s Saturday in the UK, right? And it’s only Wednesday. I didn’t pay for Fedex. Astonishing. I will report back later on the goods.

That's really cool I think I remember some changes a while ago switching to 'a courier' for overseas because it was cheaper. I hope you like it all
