Hello Nada Yes, I've bought loads of wool, olive oil soap (very good value - £3 for 600g bar - at today's rate that's about 4 euros), carders and felting needles from Wingham Wool. They have a large selection of lovely colours of dyed merino wool.

They are located not far from where I live and I've been there once. It was very nice to browse in their sheds and choose wool myself!

I've bought stuff from them at Woolfest, but not used the mail order service. They have some nice stuff and prices aren't bad.

I used them years ago, they were awful, so unbelievably rude that I decided to never use them again. They sent some wool absolutely riddled with larvae, moths I'm guessing, it was gross, but it's wool, moths like to get at it, so not a huge deal to me, but I was concerned their whole stock would get infested so phoned them up to let them know so they could save their business (I know, it sounds silly now, but I was convinced these moth bugs would eat their entire stock!) Basically, they just said 'Yeah? Send it back' made me feel like I was lying or it was my fault and they didn't have time for that, and that I was cheeky for not wanting to pay the postage to send it back.
A couple of years later they they refused to replace a broken Ashford drum carder for a felting friend in Ireland, wanted her to pay return postage etc, and said it was probably broke on the way from NZ, and wouldn't check the replacement before swapping, and other stuff, all against the law. After having it pointed out to them, lawyers mentioned etc, they did give in and as far as I remember pay for the return and do a refund or swap.
They might be completely different now, I honestly don't know, but I've never been treated so badly by somewhere I refuse to shop there, before or since.

Sorry to hear this Zed! I did use their service for quite a lot (in last two years)and never got smth wrong... Last time was in September.
