Ayubowan to everyone!
I'm a university student all the way from Sri Lanka.Incase you don't know where that is..it's the tiny water drop shaped island right below India.
Currently i'm following a degree called "Fashion design and product development" and i'm in my 3rd year and its a 4 year degree course. In our 3rd year we are suppose to do a research project on anything related to fashion. when i was surfing the web, i came across hand felting and it captured my attention right away and i decided to explore hand felting in my project.
my research objective is to test the performance of various felted fabrics such as nuno felt and wet felt and find out ways of enhancing their performance to be suitable for garment construction. to do these testing and experimentation i need to make swatches by myself and i encountered many problems in the process and it is then that i came across this forum and i thought it's a great place to interact with people with a similar interest from the other end of the world!
thank you for taking me on board..i hope it would be a great knowledge sharing experience

Hello Yathrindra, welcome to the forum. Your university studies sounds very exciting, Nuno felting transforms to garment very easily. There is three Magazine I get that has many felted garment pictures. (1) Felt an Australian Magaizne. (2). A German Magazine called, VerFilzt Und Zuge Naht (3). Felt Fashion which is an Russian Magazine. All excellent magazine.hope this helps.
