I'd still love to see the result. Many times others can learn more from our mistakes than our triumphs.

Oh dear! We 've all had some similar experiences, but as Lyn says, it's all part of the learning curve. **##** etc!

Ach! Lyn, Ruth & Judith: Trust me, this one is soooooo bad I would be embarrassed to post it, but I will consider your “offer.” Very bad idea to combine commercial pre-felts with my own handmade pre-felt and with roving…I even threw in a nuno felt scrap! What was I thinking?
No stamping feet yet, no rude words--but maybe I would feel better after that. ;-)}

Maybe if you will not show us what happened you could tell us what happened. I am with Lyn, a little bad language and feet stomping can be very good for your sole.

Cathy, don't be unhappy. One of my scarves also went into my scrap box. It's all about learning. I'm sure you'l lbe able to recycle it somehow.

So sorry it didn't turn out the way you wanted, Cathy, it sounded like you put a lot of thought and effort into it.
You shouldn't be embarrassed though, like Ruth said a lot can be learnt from mistakes, learning what 'doesn't work' and figuring out why only helps us understand what does, and why.
I imagine the 'why' it didn't work is mostly beyond your control, but also, 'didn't work' is subjective.
