The third one I completed was the most fun - love red and yellow as those of you who follow me know. The flat resist was 10 1/2 Tall and 8 1/2 inches wide. I put down two layers of roving on each side and wet that down then I added layer of a darker yellow roving and topped that with a silk hankie I had pulled from a stack of hankies, then added red bamboo top and then a very, very thin layer of the darker yellow - this was done on both sides and I love the design and color combination I achieved. The finished size is 8 inches tall and 6 inches across the top

Those look wonderful together. Did you have less problem with the "seams" this time?

They look great Frances! The yellow red combo is yummy. I also like your new haircut. :-)

The colours are wonderful Frances! Very summery. The three vessels together make a lovely display.
I think everyone's done a good job in answering your questions in the previous thread - the only thing I would add is that I like to full my vessels completely so that they don't 'wilt'.

It turned out wonderfully. The outside looks like it has lace on it.
