The Australian Sheep &Wool show in Bendigo, Victoria is on soon and I am counting down the days. www.sheepshow.com Sheep and wool showThe website doesn't really do it justice. All things sheep and wool, they have live shearing, sheep dog trials, prize winning animals, a wool fashion parade, BBQ lamb for lunch and of course, loads and loads of fibre and wool to buy. Felting and spinning and weaving, you name it. It is too much fun - and usually absolutely freezing because it is the middle of winter here. Last year I bought a whole merino fleece, some alpaca tops and some possum fibre from New Zealand. I also got to try out some unusual spinning wheels. So much fun!

It sounds great, have a good time!
Oh, if you feel like doing a blog post about it, you're more than welcome, I'm sure everyone would love to read about how it went.

So envious of your being in sheepsland! I have always wanted to see a sheep dog trial in person (have seen them on TV). Please be sure to take photos and share your experiences at the Show.

My first love is spinning all types of fibres but felting is catching up.
