I made a quick pass through a couple of thrift stores yesterday after my hair appointment and here is what I found It has flatter surfaces on the knobs than the last one I purchased and returned. It's in brand new shape and real bargain for $3 in comparison to the $38 retail price online. I now have yet another tool in the felting toolbox. BTW, I have used the Tupperware top and its works like a charm. Now I need to find a spare. Ann, I followed your advice and took it apart and cleaned it out side. Thanks! I was afraid I'd break it. :-)

Thanks, I do love a bargain. And ,yes Lyn, it made my day.
Ann, I will continue to look. I think the good thing here,is most people have no clue what they are.

Zara has one, so does Cathy (Luvswool). It's a Swedish lefse used to make some kind of flatbread. Obviously, we use it for felting/fulling.

Since I lived in Minnesota for 5 years, I should have seen one.

Great find Marilyn - I've never seen one here but I don't go to the thrift stores often enough to get the good finds.

Ahhh, Marilyn, and I was feeling smug about my purchase of the used lefse roller for $18 on ebay!!! Of course, mine has red handles :-} Please call me the next time you go thrift store shopping.

Judy, you should have for sure in Minnesota!
Thanks Ruth. I try not to make special trips but stop in when I'm in the area.
Cathy, do you have a list I need to add to mine? ;-)

Carole, I used it briefly yesterday and it works fine. I imagine it will come in handy when I work on large or heavy projects.
