Ann, the Devon is similar to Wensleydale, Lincoln or Teeswater tops, but doesn't curl quite so much as those, so more suited to decorative felt.
Marilyn, when I used the Domestic 56s you sent me, I found it felted similarly to the English 56's but the English 56s is more white.

Thanks Zed. I don't mind the domestic 56s for a base, but wish it were whiter. It does dye nicely though.

Hello Nada, my favorite ones are first the Dorset Horn and second the Finn wool, have fun creating a project with them..
