Leather straps and findings for bags

Does anyone have any good resources for where to buy leather straps and other trim for wet felted bags. Thanks

this is the only one I have for handles. if you need big peices of leather for bottoms etc I get leather pants for the second hand store. cheapest  large peices of leather out there. sometimes I even find them with the tags still on them.

If you're in the US and not dead set on leather, I think it's joann fabrics or michales or maybe both sell faux leather with clips on the end. Or you could shop thrift stores for handbags and get them that way. Good luck and let us see what you're creating when you're done. Is this a final project for class?

Ann- thanks for the quick response. I have already taken a look at the site, and this is exactly what I'm looking for.
Marilyn- I think I will try the resource Ann advised as I'm keen on leather right now. I took a class with Andrea Graham about 1-1/2 months ago to learn wet felted handbags, so I want to work on a few smaller projects to develop what I learned. Sharing the bag I made from Andrea's class separately. I'm also working on some smaller items which I think the leather trim would be nice.

Zed, I do love 2nd hand shops so I need to do a field trip. You reminded me that I may have things I can use from my own closet as I used to buy handbags from the thrift shop years ago. Thanks

One thing I've saved for possible use with bags is the ring from those curtain rings with clips... www.ikea.com/us/en/images/products/syrlig-curtain-ring-with-clip-and-hook__0139736_PE299569_S4.JPG

I use the rings/clips for holding my netting and recently took a few clips off their rings and put them onto just one. So I was left with lots of metal rings. I've seen them being sold for at least £1 each, and these curtain rings are about 10 to a pack for £1 or £2.
