I am new to the forum. I have been absorbing any and all information and tutorials that I can find on fiber arts. Anything dealing with wool! I stumbled into needle felting, have experimented with wet felting, dying, spinning, and processing the wool straight from the sheep all by myself. I haven't found anyone around here that I can ask questions or share any exciting new discoveries with. Hubby just pretends to be interested. Lol. So, I was tickled pink to find you guys!!! Now I won't feel so alone in my woolen adventures! Great to meet you all! Have a great day!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I told Hubby I have a whole group of wooly friends that I just met:) I live in northern Iowa in a little town, St.Ansgar. Close to the Mn border. If any of you are close, give me a holler! I am almost embarrassed yet to share pics of my work... There is so much to learn yet. A friend of mine who is a wood worker loves new projects and challenges, so he made me my drop spindles, picker, hackle and comb, diz, blending board, and niddy noddy. So I have all the toys:) I have an etsy shop under the name of Country Grove Treasure ( tried to add the s to treasure, but used all my letters up I guess), and sell once in a while on EBay, but don't really have my wool projects up, as I feel like I am still learning. I am rambling. Anyway, thanks again guys! Am a happy girl:)

Whenever you're ready Mindy. Remember, we were all beginners once. I think most of us are still learning and love it! I love experimenting, but not everything turns out either. But that's half the fun. Enjoy the journey.

You have some lovely felted items in your Etsy shop - the trio of bunnies are so cute.
