I've finished laptop case as my husband's birthday present! It's quite large and it's not a carrier bag just a protective cover.

Very nice Felicity. I'm sure he'll love it. Did you use a technique from Fiona's class?

Thank you! Did you use a technique from Fiona's class? What technique do you mean? I wasn't in Fiona's class I'm afraid...

I'm very impressed with the fit - it's perfect!
The cut-out initials are lovely and he must be very pleased with the case.

Thank you very much! I'm very impressed with the fit - it's perfect! The laptop is quite heavy so you need to be precise with the case - if it's too loose it will slip out and you could drop it and if it's too tight it's hard to push it in. I am pleased with the fit myself!

Congratulations, Felicity. Very simple and elegant, especially the initials are very neatly done. What wool did you use? Kap merino?

Thank you Carole and halay! Red wool is Kap merino and grey inside is carded merino. 220g altogether.

did you reinforce the side seams with stitching or are they just felted? Love the color and shape!

Thank you frances! There is no stitching just wet felting. Because it's not a carrier bag just a protective cover there is not much of load on the sides.
