Thank you for posting the carder vids Zed. Long story short = I contacted the maker of your drum carder, Classic Carder, and he very kindly made a brush to fit my Ashford (and he didn't charge any extra). I love it. It's so easy to fit and remove.

Lyn, I'm so jealous. I was just thinking about that yesterday. Do I try to retrofit my Louet with a brush or sell and buy a new one with a brush? Louet doesn't have brushes. And mine needs it between the rollers.

Wasn't that nice? I'm sure you'll really like having it.

Wow, that's great, Lyn It fits perfectly too! Do you have a photo of the back of yours Marilyn? Maybe a brush could be made to fit.

Here is a side view I can take a pic of the back, but there is nothing back there as you can see. I'd be better off putting it up front like the new Ashfords have because that's where all the excess goes onto the smaller drum. I downloaded a instruction sheet on how to install the packer brush for the Ashford but I don't think I can find a narrow enough brush. Then if it doesn't work I won't get my money back out of it. ;-( I still ill have to think on it. I need three hands otherwise. :-)

Oh, is it like the front there, it doesn't have any back at all?
