Hi all I am a new felter and have been practicing with hats made on a ball. Look forward to learning new things. I have also been spinning for a few years and now learning how to weave. Thanks for accepting my application. Michele

Hello Michelle and welcome! The hat is pretty - I like the colour you've chosen for the band as it really complements the colours in the felt.

Hi and welcome. Your hat is really nice. Is that a hat shaper under it? I spin and I have woven. I enjoy inkle weaving. It's fast to set up and weave.

Hi Ann, yes it is a hard plastic hatshaper under the felt hat. I was able to source them from a company in USA for a reasonably cheap price. They have all different shapes and sizes. I notice they also have foot lasts as well now. Happy to give you their website if that is allowed. Michele

Your hat is great, Michele I tried a couple recently, and they're definitely hat shaped, but not brilliant! I think a good source for foot lasts has been on most felters wanted list for a long time, so definitely share the link! All good felting/wool/fabric etc resources/inspiration/info links welcome.
